Below you will find the link to yesterday morning’s worship. It is part two of my sermon series on prayer. I am indebted to Father Henri Nouwen for the foundational work of this sermon series. It comes from his book, With Open Hands.
A couple of apologies are in order. The camera stand in the rear broke right before worship. Our make-shift solution did not allow us to include the people who were sitting to the left of the camera’s view. We had 12 in worship in all.
The second apology is my fumbling around trying to find my place in the sermon. Enjoy a good laugh on me! (What you don’t see is me botching the order of worship! I thank God for the ability to edit these videos.)
A hearty thank you to Hiram and Karla for making sure we can gather safely every Sunday. They have really taken every precaution on our behalf.
Everyone who is opting to safe at home, please know we honor your decision. We want everyone to feel safe and be safe! We also need to express just how much everyone who is part of the HCC family is missed. We all long for the day when the coronavirus no longer poses a credible threat to anyone and we can all be back together again. A good prayer to keep praying!
May Sunday’s worship be a blessing to you!
