Good Sunday morning, everyone!
Below is the link to this Sunday’s morning worship. Please have your elements ready for the Lord’s Supper following the morning message. The scripture reading is Acts 2:1-21.
I did not receive any new prayer requests this week. Please remember those we have been holding in our prayers: Hiram Smith’s sister, Orlean Smolek and her two sons, Kenny and Michael Smolek; Judy Chada’s daughter, Jessy Chada; Gary Washer; and, Billie Shahayda.
We will move back into the sanctuary (safely!) for morning worship next Sunday, June 7th! We will continue to record the worship service and make it available to those who want to participate from home. We certainly understand that there will be those who believe gathering together for worship remains too big a risk. Please stay home and stay safe! We will continue to bring worship to you in the safety of your home. The adult Sunday school class will resume in the coffee shop. There will be no Sunday school for our children at this time.
For those who choose to worship in the sanctuary, there will be individual, prepackaged communion cups with the bread and juice you pick up as you come into the sanctuary. Face masks and hand sanitizer will be readily available. We will, of course, practice safe, social distancing as we spread out through the sanctuary in our seating. We give our sincerest thanks to those who have worked so hard to prepare our church for reopening!
Coffee on the Square will reopen tomorrow, June 1st, 8:00 am to noon. There will be a free pancake and sausage breakfast to all who come for our reopening. Please be in touch with Karla and Hiram Smith today if you can help with the Coffee on the Square’s reopening.
May you be blessed by this morning’s worship!
